"SONGTI"
'Songati' is a marathi play written and directed by Yogesh Soman.
This play highlights the story of a maid and her journey from a maid to becoming an Education Minister.
The struggles she has to face including her husband, mother in law and her family. In politics, a social worker called Jayabai helps her and becomes her backbone in her journey of becoming an Education Minister.
"AANANDA DOH"
Tukaram Maharaj, unarguably the greatest saint of Maharashtra. Tukaram's geniuspartly lies in his ability to transform the external world into its spiritual analogue. For the past four centuries he has been the source of energy and inspiration to many. There is no other Marathi saint who has so deeply and widely influenced Marathi people.The play 'ANAND DOH' through light on the life of Tukeram Maharaj. The play hasencompassed the 13 important days of his life. The day he drowned his Gatha (spiritualwritings and poems) in the river Indrayani till the day Gatha came out without a drop ofwater destroying it. Through thisperformance we wish to get his teachings and principles in lime light. We genuinely want this play to reach the massesand that is why right from the set design to the performance everything is neat and handy. This play can be performed in the closed theater or in an open place or in temple. Anyone can participate in our work by organizing the show in their cities or districts orcountries.
"ISHWARSAKSHA"
“Ishwarsaksh” is a Full length Marathi play based on the dark side of today’s Hospital business. Like Education system, today Hospital system has also become a huge profit making business. This play highlights one of the realistic and true sides of Hospital business which is very cruel and shocking. The Story revolves around a man named Mukund Sahastrabudhhe whose mother is admitted in the city hospital. Dr. Inamdar a senior doctor at this hospital provides this treatment. After a period of time Sahastrabuddhe realizes the true face of Dr. Inamdar.
After a series of shocking incidences Sahastrabuddhe is convinced that this hospital is wearing a mask of doing noble things for humanity but under that mask there are many money sucking profit making inhuman daemons. His whole world remains shattered and he takes some serious actions which are going to provide justice to all the people like him who have been a part of this trap
"STREESUKTA"
Killing female fetus is one of the major issues in India. 'Strisukta' is a marathi play written by Yogesh Soman on this issue. The play highlights this issue reaching thousands of people and making them think about this issue seriously.
This play has proved that Entertainment industry is a very powerful source in making difference in this society when it comes to issues like this. It has completed 75 shows till date.This play has been presented in various colleges.
The vision of 'Streesukta' team is to present this show in atleast one school/college of every district in maharashtra to reach the young generation. Because the young generation plays a major role in the process of resolving this issue.
